‘Twas the week before Christmas, and all around the house,
Unseasonable warm weather came up from the south.
Decorations were hung with the greatest of care,
All around Henry, here, there, and everywhere.
Dogs ran to and fro, they made such a clatter.
It’s not like anything was even the matter.
Family gathered and our task was clear:
Fill up Henry with good times and cheer!
When what, to my wondering eyes should appear,
That Neanderthal left his empty can of beer!
